Projects Engineer

Location: Oxford, UK

 

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with enthusiasm and ambition who is willing to manage design and build projects from start to finish involving client/supplier liaison, carry out system builds including IPC based controller assembly, system programming using C++ and contribute to product development such as implementing robot based applications and closed loop control of production equipment. The role also requires frequent overseas travel for system commissioning and customer support.

 

The person

Applicants will be educated to degree/diploma level and have 1+ years "hands on" experience in an automation or process control environment involving software, hardware and control systems. You will be skilled problem-solver with the ability to communicate and build customer relationships at all levels. Direct experience of industrial vision systems would be a distinct advantage.
